Ellen is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989. She became a Nurse Practitioner when she completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2016. She is certified as a Registered Nurse in both Nevada and California.

Ellen was born in Pennsylvania and later joined the Air Force. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner she worked in the Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, at the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, the Northbay Medical Center in Fairfield, CA and the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center which is associated with the Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. Over this time, she received experience in transplant medicine, pediatric medicine, OB/GYN, family practice and internal medicine.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cross country skiing and crafting.

As a new Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Ellen is very excited to bring her wide variety of experience to Nevada Advanced Pain Specialists.
