Christina Gardner, LMT

Christina is a firm believer that through determination, commitment, and perseverance one can be the best version of themselves regardless of where they are in life with their wellness goals. It is Christina’s passion to educate, empower, and motivate clients to be successful and meet their health goals.
Christina has always loved movement, but really developed a passion for movement at 15 years old, when a snowboarding injury landed her in physical therapy. Through that experience, she knew she wanted to pursue her education in rehabilitation fitness and body therapy.
At 18, she got her first certification in Water Fit. This gave her an avenue to follow for the next 20 years. She received her Group Fitness certification in 2007 and taught many variations from Spin, boot camps, pre and post-natal mommy-me classes, and golf fitness. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with her Bachelors of Science in Healthy Ecology. In 2015, she decided to leave the corporate business world to further her knowledge in medical fitness and therapy.
Christina then worked to become certified as a Cancer Exercise Specialist. This opened many new doors of working with a unique population that was learning to move in their bodies after surgeries and treatments. While working as a Cancer Exercise Specialist, she also became certified as a Pilates Instructor.
Since she became a certified Pilates instructor, Christina has learned a variety of things about the movement of bodies and how important movement is in active recovery from trauma. This sparked her interest in NeuroKinetic Therapy®, an area in which she earned a certification during 2020. Today, Christina is a licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in NKT® and other bodywork modalities.
When she is not with her clients or enriching her personal practice methods, Christina is with her family, going to see live music, dancing, and enjoying the outdoors.
