Justina Walter, PT, DPT
Justina Walter, PT, DPT, was born in Houston, TX and moved to Reno in 1990 with her family. She attended McQueen High School and graduated in 2003. She continued her passion for learning and earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Ecology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2007. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2011.
Justina utilizes multiple techniques that have proven their effectiveness in treating patients directly, improving health and patient activity. The different styles of exercises and techniques provide a well-rounded approach to a physical therapy patient who is looking to improve their health through soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, repeated motion, core stabilization integrating Pilates based exercises, stretching and strengthening. She places a strong importance on her patients and believes their treatment should always come first.
Justina is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Nevada Physical Therapy Association and brings a strong understanding of physical therapy to Nevada Advanced Pain Specialists. She is a certified clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. Justina is currently pursuing a certification in McKenzie Mechanical Treatment for her spine patients and uses the method widely among chronic pain patients.
