Alex Vogt DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

I was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe and loved growing up with easy access to skiing and the lake. Due to my passion for helping others, I pursued a degree in nursing at University of Nevada-Reno and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. My nursing experience includes working in the Emergency Department, Telemetry and General Surgery Units, and an outpatient Pain Management Clinic.

After six years of working as a Registered Nurse, I obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Nevada-Reno in 2021. After graduation, I performed annual health assessments for two years, which emphasized preventative medicine. Although this experience gave me a solid foundation as a Nurse Practitioner, I am excited to narrow my focus and join Nevada Advanced Pain Specialists. I feel that my previous nursing experience in pain management, working alongside Dr. Pat-terson, and my passion for managing and treating patients with chronic pain make me a perfect fit for this team.

In my free time, I enjoy working in my yard, going up to the lake, and most importantly spending quality time with friends and family.
